Thank you

Re: Large oval shaped poops
I can't believe I'm away to post this
The one one the right is more "normal" for them. The other 3 are an assortment of what we've been getting the last few weeks. And I don't know why
They're not as dark as they look in the pic. I had to hold a magazine over the other side of my phone because of shadows!! Bloody spot lights!!

Re: Large oval shaped poops
Is it because they are growing? Just because Dougals are twice the size of Florences', so it might be now they are getting bigger they are doing bigger poos.
Or I could be talking rubbish

Re: Large oval shaped poops
It looks as if the ones on the left are quite healthy ideal poos. Full of roughage and easily squished and quite dry. The large golden poo days in my house are always celebrated.

I'm really not sure! That thought did cross my mind too though!
Some of them are a really odd shape!
Typical there were no really odd ones on the one occasion I ever intend to photograph their poo

It's maybe that I'm just not used to seeing the adult poop of a hay eating bunny

Re: Large oval shaped poops
They look healthy to me, sometimes Myrtle will do a slightly larger one after eating banana but we are used to it and expect it now

They do look like good poops. Have you changed hay?

Re: Large oval shaped poops
Thank you all for the reassurance
Their poops just seem to be getting bigger for some reason! I haven't noticed a growth spurt in them either
My first thought was the veg but they don't get a lot of it!
I'm glad everyone thinks they look ok
No, they've just been getting the 3 types they normally get. Alfalfa king timothy and excel herbage daily, and green oat hay as a treat now and then.Sparky wrote:They do look like good poops. Have you changed hay?

Re: Large oval shaped poops
Most of us lot like really stalky hay and eat lots of it, then we get the best poops. It just depends what cut of hay it is. Even if you are buying the same hay, the cut might be different and if they like it they might be eating lots (we're also eating more hay - even us indoors - as we know winter is looming).

Re: Large oval shaped poops
My lot do all sorts of shapes and sizes of poo. It's the tight little dark ones and the bunches of grape ones that I worry about. Those poops look pooptastic to me

Re: Large oval shaped poops
They look absolutely fine to me!
Sasha does huge golden ones because she eats tons of hay.
(PS does your OH know you've been taking pictures of their poo! )
