I have two very happy bunnies!
The bun's Ings hay from Hay for Pets arrived today and they went NUTTY for it. I think they will eat a lot more of this which can only be good since they have had dodgy tums lately as well...
The hay is lovely. It smells so fresh, is full of flowers and different stalk types etc. I'm very pleased with it
Another bonus is that I gave my VERY fussy (as in so fussy I have to supplement them with Readigrass daily) chinchillas some of the Timothy & Rye that I got in the sample pack and they had a good go on that too. My chinnies do loose interest in stuff as quickly as they started, but if they maintain it I will be ecstatic to have found actual HAY that they eat! I worry constantly about their teeth and this would be a huge weight off my mind
So I have a new found love, Hay for Pets

I can hear Willow trying to tug the hay rack down to get a good rummage through (they are in the room next door). I know it's Willow, Mojo is far too gentle but she, on the other hand, is like a bull in a china shop when it comes to anything edible

That ings hay sounds like the hay we use to get from York that had flowers in it and was lovely but so expensive.
Glad Willow and Mojo are enjoying it

Re: I have two very happy bunnies!
We sometimes get organic hay like that which has been cut from the grounds of a country house - it's wonderfulTuckerbunnies wrote:That ings hay sounds like the hay we use to get from York that had flowers in it and was lovely but so expensive.

We missed out this year as it never got baled into small bales - Hudad said he would have found somewhere to put a big round one but nobody could get one to us
The shop charge extra for this hay - £5 a bale instaed of £4.50. Humum says if they get it in again, she'll fill the car up (she reckons she'd get about 7 bales in) and come visiting

Oh Sparky, hay cut from the grounds of a country house sounds far more suitable for a bunny of your status
