I know, I'm about 150 miles away so not much use for bunnies that wouldn't be likely to travel well.
There was a similar situation near here recently and she started out as a rescue but let males and females out together

The mind boggles
Bring in pet licences I say! I'd be more than happy to pay it if it would stop these people doing these things.

Any chance of transport runs to other areas of the country?
Re: 40+ rabbits-Telford.. U/D List of rescues that took them P3
We are on holiday from next week otherwise we might have been able to fit a couple in temporarily if they came with hutches
I just hope the rescues do their usual sterling job of pulling together for these guys

I suppose that would depend on the health of the rabbits. I *think* it's intended as a nationwide appeal.
If you were to let Walsall RSPCA know of any spaces elsewhere in the country I'm sure transport runs could be arranged if they know they have spaces lined up.

Oh I feel so helpless but I just have no space. I'm not even that far from Walsall either which only makes me feel even worse
Does anyone know what the current situation is now?

They did get them all out... all 54 of them Rescue spaces had been secured for the vast majority when I read the update yesterday evening. One of them had teeth practically growing up her nose

I shall ask Vicky and Becky who co-ordinated it and report back
Edit to add: Two are on their way to
http://www.rainbowrabbits.co.uk/
One has a deformed leg and the other has severe dental problems
I don't know about others yet but will update when I know anything.

Re: 40+ rabbits-Telford.. U/D List of rescues that took them P3
This is information copied with permission from Rainbow Rabbits re the Telford bunnies that have gone there.
This is Bunita Sunshine. She is the bunny with severe dental problems, Her incisors have been clipped now and she is munching away on hay. But they will need removing and she needs a dental on her molars. I can also feel a lump in her jaw
This is the tiniest sweetest rabbit ever, now named Victoria Twinkle Toes She has deformed front feet and a rattly chest with runny eye She must have been the runt of the litter as I have never seen such a tiny rex. Our little sienna (rex) is small but no where near as small as this!
Bunita is only a small rabbit herself so you can see how tiny little Twinkle is. They saw the RSPCA vet yesterday who unfortunately vaccinated them! So they are having a few days rest before seeing our vet in Thursday for complete health checks. But it is obvious they are going to need a lot of treatment
Other rabbits have gone to Blue Cross and BARC (ie Bunnymadhouse has got a very lovely lionhead from there whom no doubt she will be showing you soon.)

I don't know yet unfortunately. I'm trying to find out. I'm sure BARC and Rainbow Rabbits would appreciate donations but not sure yet who else has taken the bunnies. I will update when I can.
