Had a bunny day today Empty Had a bunny day today

Post by marleyNfriends Sun Nov 18, 2012 11:47 pm

Woke up with pain this morning and despite trying to get ready for work, i had to take some tramadol and go back to bed. Spent the day in bed, reading Rabbiting On, drifting off to sleep and watching the bunnies.

Really dont know where id be without them, they cheer me up so much. I read something new about behaviour and how to "ask" before giving head rubs. I scratched the floor infront of Dolly and instead of come forward for a stroke, she turned her back on me. I did it again and she binkied off around the room Love

When i felt a bit better this afternoon i went for a sandwich, came back to find Dolly sat on my pillow like it was a throne! She growled at me when i tried to get her to move! Shocked She sat and eyed it up and even managed to get onto my shoulder as though to say "Are you gonna give me a bit or not!?" Then i went to the loo and shed got on the side table and stolen the crusts!! Laughing

I caught Marley remodeling my chest of drawers and digging through my bin Rolling Eyes

Then tonight, Hughie has been chasing brussel sprouts around his run like a loony Laughing I wish i could have gotten pictures/video but my phone was dead Sad Bit of a random post really, but theyve made me giggle today, i had to share it.

They do bring SO much joy into one's life! Rory makes me laugh like a loon at some of his antics and that makes the pain a little less.

They really do brighten the days, theres something special about rabbits. Jessy dog is like my shaddow but theres something else about the bunnies. I cant put my finger on it though. Maybe because they are misunderstood by so many people, and i feel privilaged to share my life with, and be accepted by the bunnies.

Yes Rob, i was off to spaghetti land, i dont take it on a morning unless its really bad. I was making an effort to get ready for work and was just going to do half a day and come home, but i knew it was going to get progressively worse, so i gave in. They dont make me a spacey as they used to, i tolerate them a bit better now, but they seem to take longer to kick in too. Have a hospital appointment tomorrow, hopefully going to kick some ass and get the ball rolling for taking my old kidney away and hope that makes a difference. Was really annoyed about it today, as i was off last sunday too for the same thing, and also finished antibiotics less than 3 days ago.

Humum reckons this is because people have to work a lot harder to have a good relationship with rabbits. Dogs will take being horribly abused and still go wagging their tail to their abuser - the relationship is very much on the human's terms. But with bunnies, it's the human who have to fit in around the bun and so when you get some positive reaction from us it's very rewarding for you*
