Wee bunny-Vernon has a vet date today
Any ideas?
Just in time I got a strangly behaving bunny.
Vernon, who usually is 150% litter trained is weeing, on the sofa, on the stairs, in the hall, everywhere...
Started the day before yesterday after OH has pointed out he was not normal because he wouldn't come to get his treats!
Oh a off day than? Nope.
. So yesterday evening I decided to call the vet. Don't want to risk a poorly bunny over Christmas. We have an appointment later at 9.15
Can we have some vibes please and any spare washing powder.
He is eating but only if encouraged. He withdraws himself into his hide behind the sofa.
Not my boy at all.

Re: Wee bunny-Vernon has a vet date today
Thank you!
We have been and it was the first time Marieka has meet him as Bob wasn't on duty. She was well impressed. Such a behaved and quit bunny, sitting still until she examined his mouth and teeth. He hates that!!!
Only was he so good because he doesn't feel well. I know.
The little spur that was found on the last check up is still there but has not grown. So we have decided to treat for Cystitis over the holidays and if no improvement go for the spur as the second option.
Started on Metacam and Baytrill!!
Stocked up on puppy training pads, washing powder and even found some plastic fabric to cover the sofa with. Merry Christmas it is than.

After two doses of Baytrill I found out he might not have an infection at all.
Why is he weeing I. Strange places you ask.
Let me tell you what we saw last night. Vernon sitting on the sofa whilst Lancelot strolls into the lounge. Goes to Vernons litter tray walks around it sniffing and then....
Takes a seat in it and pees. Now no,surprise if he does that the poor bunny doesn't know where to go.
Hence the cat is banned from the lounge unless one hoomin is around to guard the litter tray. Vernon has used it for poo, but hasn't weed in it yet. No wee all day and I checked the whole room.
What next?

Ooh dear
I do hope that this was the problem. We'd rather have Vernon healthy after all!
Silly Lancelot

Oh well love, at least it isn't anything to do with his little insides. Cats can be ******* for that, when we had kitty litter trays around we too had to be really vigilant.
