Domino the house rabbit!
So as you all know, Domino is currently living in the conservatory in his "hospital pen"
Its getting so cold now, so the conservatory is getting freezing at night and I can tell he isnt coping with it well. In the new place we are having him indoors and were going to buy him a big indoor cage. It would be open whenever we are in which is most of the time, but I need something big enough for space, but small enough he feels secure in case he gets frightened.
But I went out today to PAH and saw the cage "in the flesh", it is a good enough space for him, so I came home and got one off ebay. £75 in PAH and £45 on ebay.
Plus the conservatory is needed to store things as we pack up to move house, and because he is at the back, we cant even use the space infront or he will be blocked in so I am going to bring him indoors into my room until we move so he can have some time to adjust to his new space, and he will be warmer. I am spending about 10 mins a day with him right now because its just too cold out there and it makes my bones hurt and seize up. Its okay for the girls as they have each other, but Domino has nobody but me.
So he will be in here with me very soon, and I can open the pen and let him out to play in the evenings

I'm sure he is going to appreciate the warmth and the company
Your Mum might even let you have the odd snuggle with him

Re: Domino the house rabbit!
Sounds like Mr Domino is going to be much happier in your nice warm room!
It is lovely having them in your room with you if you spend lots of time in there. I do miss having Willow in my room but I just wasn't home enough and it wasn't fair on her to sit in there alone all the time - she is much happier with Mr Mojo in their own room now

Re: Domino the house rabbit!
Thats what i thought. The conservatory is getting so cold, and its also getting filled up with boxes so I have to climb over them to see him! Hes getting lost in there bless him. He will drive me up the wall in here but at least he will be cosy. Plus I can take it with me to the person who is looking after him at Christmas so it will be familiar for him.

Sweet Domino. He'll get to enjoy the indoors. He'll be depending on that nose more than ever! Domino may need to drink more too if your humidity gets low in your home as happens some places in the winter.

Re: Domino the house rabbit!
Funny you said that as his whole bowl was gone when I woke up and I thought that was strange! Makes sense!
The little guy refuses to come out of the cage even though its been open except for when Im asleep. If needs be I will get a little ramp but im pretty sure he could manage it. He just keeps staring at the pellets on the other side and then looking at me like I am a big meanie!

He'll come out when he's ready. When Ted first got the run of the full front room he wouldn't come out for a while either. He'll get there
