Mr Mojo's first spell of nortiness!
Well either Willow is sending off a lot of hormones or as Sixer said about her Gabe the other day, there's something in the air - but Mojo will not stop trying to hump poor Willow!
I went in there earlier to give them a hay top up and he was literally hopping, front legs on top of her, as she came over to me
She seems a bit stressed out by it all - she's all red eyed and panty, and there's tufts of her beautiful blue fur all over the place. Their room is next door to mine and all I can hear is chase, chase, chase... bang. Chase, chase, chase... I'm keeping a close eye on them but they don't seem to be scrapping. He is still grooming her and cuddling her, and she will settle down then. Before it starts again!
So can I have some vibes for Mojo to pack in his nortiness please? I think Willow would appreciate them too!!

Well I've had it with him Rob - I'm sitting in here now, "supervising" the little so-and-so!
Wills seems to be chilled out now mummy's come along to save her. She was much more relaxed when I came in this time too. Maybe he's let up a bit

I feel your pain, Molly does it to Junior too
It really does get boring! I wish I had some advice but I just chase her off him.
Fingers crossed he will wake up tomorrow and find something else fun to do!

thinking from a bunny point of view and baring their reputation in mind i think it's unlikely that they will find something else as much funThumper2001 wrote:I feel your pain, Molly does it to Junior too

Chewing expensive, awkward to replace items is right up there in Molly and Junior's book

Well the little b****r is still at it today!
Willow is not having any of it though. I can just hear grunting and running away from next door now. She doesn't seemed stressed by it anymore though, which is good.

Re: Mr Mojo's first spell of nortiness!
Oh dear, I think she is getting really fed up with him now
I've never seen them dominance hump each other, and they won't stop. And I can just hear crashing and banging around. I really hope this doesn't break out into a scrap
The thing is, Mojo is still grooming her and they ate their treats next to one another, so I just don't know. Maybe she's trying to "assert" herself, in the vain hope he packs it in.
I am keeping a close eye on the pair of them

Re: Mr Mojo's first spell of nortiness!
I'd move all the stuff round in their room. Do they have all their toys out? Sometimes it is best to only have some, and swap them over every now and then. Just give them something else to think about and investigate than a dominance battle....
Do you bowl feed? Try a treat ball or scatter feeding.

Re: Mr Mojo's first spell of nortiness!
Sparky, I moved everything around just yesterday - including their litter/hay area. And all the fleeces and towels were washed yesterday as well. They seem to have lost toileting habits too. I'm wondering whether they are trying to claim stuff as "theirs" since it's all different and lost their smell. They've never done this before though...
I do bowl feed, and I would scatter feed (they do have a treat ball!), but it is the time when I brush Mojo as doing it when he eats his pellets is the only time I can get him to sit still for it - so that wouldn't work. I could scatter feed veg though...
