Can I have some vibes for myself please?

I have really, really, REALLY hurt my back.

I was sweeping up after letting my chinchillas out for their run earlier this evening, and I got the most agonising searing pain across my lower back. It literally made me collapse. I had to sit on the floor for a few minutes and the terrible pain wore off, but it still hurts so much.

The only time it doesn't hurt is if I am totally straight - the minute I lean forwards, backwards or bend/crouch down it is agony. It hurts just sitting here typing now.

Goodness knows how I am going to feed and put the buns to bed tonight. I am home alone so will have to find a way to do it - it's going to be painful.

Could I please have some hopper vibes though?

Thanks guys - the pain is slightly less now I have rested it for a few hours, although still there when I move about

Ouch

Humum has had lots of problems with her back in the past (thankfully a lot better now with the help of a really good physio) - she suggests sleeping flat on the floor tonight. And ibuprofen as a painkiller as it is also an anti-inflammatory.

Thanks so much everyone - my back feels a lot better this morning. It is still painful but nothing compared to last night.

I took some Ibuprofen and went to bed, didn't sleep all that great though

Took a couple more Ibuprofen this morning in case it is a pulled muscle to help with the swelling. Mum thinks I must have a weakness in my back as I am always pulling it in the same place, but last night was just something else

once you damage your back it weakens it hun I hope the pain goes away soon xx

See if your doctor can refer you to a physio - they'll show you exercises to strengthen the muscles around the weak area in your back and also across your tummy. They are very light, gentle exercises but you'll end up with a 'band' of stronger muscle around your abdomen to support your back.

My back feels pretty much back to normal now. I am going to take another couple of Ibuprofen before bed just to help if the muscle is still swollen, but I feel much better now
