Treats!

Hector has fenugreek crunchies as a treat at the moment, but I'm hoping I'll be able to build up some association so he knows certain treats mean certain things. He already knows that crunchies mean it's bed time, and when I get the jar out he goes and sits next to his bowl!

What treats do your buns like?

They star climbing up my leg though when I go anywhere near the shelf where the fenugreeks are kept!

Same as Hector, carrot crunchers and Fenugreek crunchies they love them

Fenugreek crunchies, banananana chips and mini shredded wheat.

If we had to pick one, believe it or not it would probably be the shredded wheat...








Now I have to go and lay down to get over the trauma of the thought of a world where we had to pick one treat

Is it just ordinary mini shredded wheat sparky ? Any particular make?

Molly and Junior love Fenugreek crunchies, they get one each after they go back to their pen at night.

They go mental for banana They get a little bit on a Friday night and a little bit on a Saturday night.

They also get treat hay, which is a win win situation Their current treat hay is Burn's green oat.

Good luck with the training, Molly and Junior have taken to it really well!

Florence and Dougal, anything and everything! They have had beetroot crunchies recently which they adored.

We have the Nestle one - Bitesize Shredded Wheat. Humum has not tried us on a non brand name one, or let us have the ones filled with things. She never buys them full price either (they're about double the price of a box of big ones ) but stocks up when they are on offer.

I sometimes sit and look longingly at the box of big shredded wheat, but Humum says they don't taste the same as the little ones. And my bowl is not big enough for one I'd like to try for myself though.

Rory doesn't understand 'treats'. He turns that cute nose up at everything except fresh hay, his pellets and occasionally some greens... go figure.

Ha, oh dear, someone needs to tell him how great treats are!

Oh bless. Binky likes apple and carrot drops too and he sometimes has a honey stick to chew on, which he absolutely adores. \Ihave failed miserably I am afraid, I know they are meant to be training treats but he doesn't have to do anything to get one except look cute LOL!!

They're working fine. He is training you

My two love just about everything and will mug me for any treat they can get their little fluffy paws on

They have Bitesize Shredded Wheat, Fenugreek Crunchies (their very fave!), Banana Chips, The 5 a Day Salad Sticks from Naturals, Carrotys, Wagg Apple/Carrot Bakes, Vitakraft Nibble Rings and sometimes I buy them a treat stick to nibble on in small amounts.
