It's so cold here!

I've just been tacking a blanket to the shed door and over the window to hopefully stop drafts.

I've also wrapped their snuggle box in three big furry fleeces. Although I expect they will remove them all and pee on them overnight !

Ooops thought this said 'insulting the bunny shed!' Laughing

A huge cardboard box with their snuggle box inside and the space between packed with hay.

It's very cold here as well and I am waiting for Mike to get home from the vet's he said the roads are bad and the snow in our garden just freezes every night and the driveway is like a skating rink Sad

Laughing I also thought this!!

Katie, survival blankets have made Hughies playhouse noticeably warmer! Mum bought one for my friend for Christmas, and I said it would have been perfect for Hughie, so she gave it to me instead Laughing I tacked it to the roof and stuffed straw between the blanket and the roof and its nice and cosy for him now Smile The straw on the floor has also helped, although some bunnies would just pee all over it, Hughie is quite good. Carpets and fleeces also help, but i cant get away with them for H as he just chews and shreds them to bits. Laughing

Its certainly warm enough to stop his water bowl from freezing anyway! Smile

I am quite lucky that in December 2011 we insulated the shed with 50mm of celotex then plywood on top, it stays above freezing, I hate it when things freeze but love the snow Smile cant wait for the buns to get to experience snow for the first time Smile
