Green bananas

Should rabbits not be fed bananas that are still green, or have I just made that up?!

I'm thinking I must have read it somewhere... It seems a strang thing to just make up

Humm, I think I heard that somewhere too! But it would take a bit of hunting to double check! Hopefully someone will know definitively though!

I would not give green bananas as it can upset the tummy is how I remember it

i know they aren't ripe yet if they are green so i guess i wouldn't just to be on the safe side

I'm going to have to start being more careful with my banana selection process! I avoid the green ones but in doing so I keep taking buying ones that are brown inside And I can't exactly feed them either!

I can't seem to find a middle ground

We never give green bananas, we buy them green as we buy lots of bananas and as they turn yellow we give a little to the buns on top of their breakfast

Green bananas would give hoomins tummy ache so I'd imagine buns would
follow suit!
