Myrtle's area
As promised in another thread, here is where Myrtle lives:
[img][/img]
She is an exceptionally well behaved housebun and doesn't chew things she shouldn't.
We have taken precautions in case one day she does choose to chew, most cables are hidden. One cable that isn't hidden has been replaced with armored cable mainly for peace of mind when we are out.
Sometimes she hops up the first three steps, when the water company were digging up the road outside our house (they didn't think to warn us ) I found her on the bed upstairs when I got home from work. There was so much wee that I think she must have been there all day. She hasn't been there voluntarily again though.

Re: Myrtle's area
That's great - I love her little hidey den, and the fact it is right in the middle of the floor
Re: the bed thing, I did that once. I can't believe humans never think to keep a litter tray on their bed

Re: Myrtle's area
She does like to do her laps around her den, somehow incorporating the sofa too! Her area seems to have evolved over time... it started off as a bed, then one tunnel, then one tunnel with a bed over the top, 2 tunnels, eventually with two beds on either side which she snuggles between and licks... she also has numerous sticks and partly destroyed wicker bits strewn here and there. The human likes to put her toys in her tunnel, which Myrtle then merrily likes to disperse so that they are under our feet Every now and then she claims random cardboard boxes, too
