I accidentally cut the quick on one of Hector's nails
I guess there's a first time for everything! It didn't bleed too much, I think it's stopped now, but I didn't know if I should do anything like put some antiseptic cream on it?

Re: I accidentally cut the quick on one of Hector's nails
What you need is a 'Styptic Pencil' and you dab the end of the nail with it and it stops the bleeding.

or if you go to Pets at Home they sell 'Blood Stop' swabs which are made to stop bleeding from cut's and nails.

A dab of what we call corn starch will work too. I think you call it something else there. it's a fine white powder that you use to thicken gravies and puddings.

It only bled for about a minute, then it dried up. I might get some of the powder to pop on it just so it doesn't get infected. It's what I call his 'thumb' nail, or I guess the bunny equivalent of a dewclaw that I cut, so at least it isn't in contact with anything.

Oh of course a Styptic pencil completely forgot them!
Their really good I always make sure I have one
I'm sure he's fine as long as it has stopped bleeding.
By the look of the photo It doesn't look like you've taken much off.
Sending vibes for the little boy
