Visitin Wildie
The little wildie was visiting Gabe and Spring again first thing this morning. These are some pics I took through the kitchen window. Wildie is in need of bunny company I think, s/he was quite happy to sit near Gabe and Spring in the early morning sun and indulged in some washing. Gabe was again furious, battering at the run mesh. Poops on the decking suggest that s/he has also made it's way up to BJ and Rosie too as well as Herbie and Hollie. As pretty as it is, and as lovely to watch I wish it would find a friend of it's own kind out in the fields.

Re: Visitin Wildie
wow a gorgeous bun too but can understand your concern though,
in picture 5 the bun looks uncomfortable I wonder if it's in pain,
can you not tell the rspca or something maybe they could help the rabbit x

It does look a bit like that in the photo, Rob but I think it is just how I caught it. It then started washing and has also been digging at the lawn. We do own a really good pair of binoculars so I am keeping a close watch on it. I think it would be nigh on impossible to catch it anyway, it scarpered as soon as it caught sight of me.

Oh goodness....breathtakingly beautiful
I wonder if its a little boy, been kicked out to make his own way in the world and just not been able to find some of his own kind yet.

The RSPCA didn't bother when I rang them about a wildie baby I found, it was sick and wobbly and they told me to put it back where I found it, I said I can't do that as it's took me two week's to rescue it from under a track at a childrens fairground. ( I had the Candy Floss kiosk on there).
I was told 'It will probably die anyway'
I named him KC after 'Kiddies Corner' and had him about 5 years, I kept him as he had become tame.
Your Wildie is gorgeous Sixer and what a healthy wildie he look's, I love them I think they have lovely faces and big brown eyes.

Re: Visitin Wildie
He looks just like barley
He or she will go pretty soon. We have a baby or young rabbit in the garden in the spring quite often. They are probably attracted by the scent of other rabbits. Ours hang around doing exactly what yours is doing and then just disappear.

Oh bless. He/She is so pretty. I am sure sure soon it will find its own way, and stop visiting the garden.

Re: Visitin Wildie
S/he is so beautiful. As much as I love my fluffy faced lionheads there is something magical about seeing a rabbit as they are meant to be
Nickie - I think we need some pictures of Barley please and Maysie I never knew you had had such an interesting past. It's years since I had candy floss.
No wildie this morning as it has snowed - blizzard conditions at the top of Winter Hill where I live Hope wildie has a snug burrow some where.
