our 2 new rescue arrivals . (warning sad story ) update/pic

These two little ones arrived yesterday ... I agreed to take them with the knowledge that they had been living together and fighting . ..

sadly when examined properly it was found that they both have several nasty bite wounds ... and both have abcesses ... one of which is so big it almost circles one of his front legs .

we realy dont know the prognosis for these two boys ... at the moment it doesnt look good at all . ...
but we have to give them a chance .

the one with the worst abcess is at the vets now undergoing an op to try and remove the abcess ...the other one os booked in tomorrow ...
... these are going to be expensive bunnies and our funds are stretched already ..

i will update as soon as i know how op has gone ..

What on earth is wrong with people? I cannot believe it doesn't grate on them every minute of every day that they allowed something like this to happen. I really cannot stand some people

I also want to say a huge thank you to you. If it wasn't for people like you cleaning up other people's problems and cruelty, goodness knows how many more poor buns would suffer. You are brilliant xxxx

Scooby has come through the op and is now resting . He is with a fosterer and is indoors so nice and comfy .

The abcess was actualt 2 abcesses ...but they were still contained and hadnt started to track as we had feared . They have been removed and we are hopefull that with abx coverage he will recover .

Fred is is in for his op tomorrow

So glad Scooby has come through the Op and hopefully with the antibiotics he will improve xxxx

Freds op went ok although the abcess was more extensive than we had thought and he also had another .. ..he is home and eating .
