Bertie's limp... again!

Well, Bertie is still limping, in spite of the pain killers. We had him back at the vet tonight, and she agrees with me, that it is a soft tissue injury. We discussed the possibility of an x ray, but we're still holding off on that. None of us really feel that it will show anything, he's not in any distress with it - he doesn't even seem to particularly be in any pain. So we are giving it a bit longer and taking him back in 2 weeks.

The vet also noticed some bites on his chest - our big lad has been fighting!

The vet really loves Bertie - every time she sees him she comments on how handsome and friendly he is, and gives him big cuddles. In fact, every vet he's seen has fallen for his charms!

Aw, Bertie - you need to sit still and let your poorly foot heal and stop fighting! I prescribe a fortnight on a soft cushion on a warm lap, being hand-fed your favourite morsels
