Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
I have to ring back at 3 for the test results. I am going to bring him home tonight regardless - there's no point him being there as there's no-one there over night.

Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
Well, I've been to see him :luv: but he's got to stay there until tomorrow. No test results back yet. He's eating a bit on his own and has done some poos. I'm much happier now I've seen him, but still worried.

Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
He has eaten all his food that I took for him yesterday, I can't bring him home yet, because the vet hasn't seen his test results, but I am taking him some more food now.

Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
Yayayayay!!! I'm going to get him now!!
His blood results came back fine, apart from muscle enzymes were high - which they can't understand, as there is no reason for it (muscle injury etc). Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
I'm glad he is OK but I have no idea what the muscle enzymes would mean.....there was no sing of any dietary or mineral deficiency was their? A high white blood cell count?

Re: Evo poorly - update, coming home but confusing test results
Anorexia will cause abnormalities in the blood biochemistry.
So if it was a raised AST/ALT it may be because he has not been eating.
Glad he is coming home
