Urgent vibes for Ruby please

Yesteday morning she didnt want to eat her pellets or food.

I gave her til last night and took her the the vets.
She had a gut stimulant and painkiller jab.
No better overnight or this morning.

Mixed up bio lapis and force fed.

Took her to vets again this morning.. she is currently under having x rays and possible exploratory as her stomach is showing pain but her guts are working as she is passing poop from force feeding..

Oh I feel sick poor mite...

Thanks fiver.. they called to say she has a massive tumor and i could let her go or give her a chance..

I gave her the chance.. as its 50.50....

havent heard back yet.. so scared for her and poor milo..

Thanks Katie.. the vet has confirmed a tumor and its been removed.. im waiting for the call to hear she is okay but the next 24 hours will be critical.. why do we do it eh? am in pieces all day not good

I habe wondered the sane thing hunni, its Cos we blimmin love em.....

They have no idea of what we go through for them.  There is nothing like Bunny Worry, and the feeling of helplessness. 

I'm glad they have removed it, I'll keep checking in Hun to see how she is doing.  Sending more love to you too xxx

I got a phone call to say that she is recovering so yay she made it through...

The next 24 hours are critical and I have everything crossed.

Am off sick anyway but my my have I a monster headache and feel sick.

Ive never had to witness the pain of seeing a husbun missing his girlfriend so up close.

Milo and Ruby are indoor bunnehs and he's been off all day..

I swear no more bunnehs.. my heart cant take it.... and not sure hubbies wallet can either

Karen, it doesn't matter how often you post, but we are here when you need to offload to a group of people who know how much it matters to you and that she's not 'just a rabbit'. 

I hope that she is able to come through this and have a much better quality of life.

*** UPDATE***
Collected her form the vets and waiting for the vet lady to come over to stay the night as she is on an IV drip and lots of meds...
Ive force fed her a watery oxbox critical care.. not sure about solids as they've basically cut a bit of her gut out and stuck it back together.. there are risks but i had to give her a chance..
She is a litle fiesty one... she ate her drip in the vets and fought the force feeding!

It's so hard when they are ill.  They cannot express how they feel to us like dogs 
and cats do.  We just have to guess.

Shes a vet that sees milo with his eye..
I didnt want her to go to care so offered to pay for her to stay at ours.
Ruby has done some poops this morning had an awful night...
Need to go back to the vets to get some more drugs for her this morning..
Apparently she cant eat solids for 6 days as need time for the sutures to heal in her gut so no strong movements allowed.
First ive ever heard of almost wanting a bunny to have a runny gut..
Am so glad I am genuininly ill

I hope everything is okay and well, animals do put us through a lot stress and pain with worry, been through it 3 times with dogs and my dwarfie hamster it does not get easier but it is always worth having them around and giving them the best happy life possible, it hurts but it if you give them as full and loving life as possible then that is a good thing to remember, remember that you did and hopefully will continue doing if all goes well. I am a natural worrier like you as I know everyone on here is. I hope she pulls through and many good vibes for you all. She knows how much you love them too and know you are a great humum.
