I had an almost-heart attack!!!!

I left work a bit late today because I knew OH was working out in the sticks today and I was yapping!! Got home and everything appeared to be normal, today's mail was still hanging on the inside of the letter box etc.

Took my shoes off, grabbed the mail and then opened the living room door. Molly and Junior. Standing on the footstool. Looking at me. Wtf?!?!

We just looked at each other. Molly and Junior live upstairs. How did this happen?? The door was closed!! Then I heard giggling from the kitchen

OH got away from work early because he had to do a quick job nearer to home, his colleague dropped him home and took the van.

It was pure luck that they stayed on the footstool when OH put them on it

I read this to him and he said he would have if he'd had enough time He's amazed I didn't see him run passed the window.
