More tips on keeping rabbits cool.
Cut 1" chunks of Apple or Banana or both and put them in your freezer when the rabbit seems hot give him a frozen chunk of the banana/apple this is like the bunny equivalent to an ice cream. If they don't eat it take it up and place back in freezer.
Change the water several times a day with fresh water if it get's warm..they won't drink it , so keep changing it for fresh.
What I keep doing is using a water mister in front of the fans so it cools down the air a little. I've also misted Letty Lop's ears as she is obviously struggling in this heat .
If you have long haired rabbits trim them for extra coolness, although we have a cooling unit in the garage where Angora Jess is Mike has also trimmed her coat for extra coolness for her.
Veggies will keep them hydrated.
If you have a cool tiled floor if you can let the bunny sit on it I'm sure it would help keep them cooler.
The most important thing is please make sure your rabbit is drinking fresh water, older rabbits and overweight rabbits in heat are reluctant to move and therefore may not drink as much. Make sure they are even if you have to syringe feed them water!
If they are not drinking enough water it will lead to dehydration which in this heat could kill them.
Sorry to keep going on about it but I know that people with rabbits are all feeling this heat and I am reading all I can on tips to keep them cool and sharing them with you so hopefully it may help.

Brilliant tips Maysie!
Charlie and Annie are terrible for drinking - I've been stringing them water now.

Re: More tips on keeping rabbits cool.
You do not need to be sorry, the more tips the better Hun.
I have got 1 of those cool pads Sparky mentioned for Dougal and he has a tile that I put ice packs under too, he has been lead on both. I will post some photos of him on his cool pad if I get chance over the weekend. He looks cute.
The apple and banana sounds a good idea.
I change Dougals water a lot when it is hot, he gets ice cubes in 3 times a day or more too.
Keep the advice coming. All helps, it is so hot for us, can only imagine how hot the poor furrys get in this heat.
