Hutch Advice .... Empty Hutch Advice ....

Ok so with the whole moving out back on [after being on hold for what seems like forever] we have come to the decision that both pairs of rabbits [mine and my bf's] will be going outside. Its just a simpler option with renting but also means they wont be able to have a shed in the garden as renters wont allow it. So now i am down to looking at hutches. I was just wondering what companies you guys recommend or any hutches you recommend? As looking through some websites seems they charge a small fortune for tiny hutches.

I also have the option of building a hutch as my dad is a carpenter. If we went down this road what wood would you recommend and also mesh for the front? as i am not sure normal chicken wire would be secure enough. It will be in the middle of a large town ..... but i know this wont mean that they will be 100% safe from foxes ect.

The hutches we've seen for sale have either been like ours, a good size but very poor quality, or good quality and very expensive.

For the money you're far better off getting something built. I'll send Hudad on to advise in a bit Thumbs Up

Oh, and use weld mesh - never chicken wire.
