Hector's pee smells really strong

I only cleaned out his litter tray yesterday, usually I don't smell his pee at all, but for the past week or two it's been really bad. As soon as he pees in there after I clean it out I can smell it. I clean his tray out every other day and never have any trouble with smell before in between. Do you think I should be worried?

If it's very strong and his urine is quite dark it could be a sign that he is dehydrated and he needs water so you could syringe some water in to his mouth if this doesn't work and his urine is still very strong he may have a bladder infection and will need a vet visit.

I would try him with some water if you haven't seen him drinking any.

Have you made any changes to diet. Savoy cabbage makes B&F's pee stink!

It may just be his wee then as bunny wee can be strong smelling at times.
