Bunny Bonding on You Tube

I've just watched the bunny bonding on HH You Tube channel. I'd mentioned it to a rescue which I hope to adopt a French Lop from. They couldn't find it, so I only went on to try and send a link. Not sure if the adoption is going to work out, as I'm in Devon and bunny is in Gateshead. Anyway, it was so lovely to see my Mindy meeting up with Brian. It was a really successful bonding as they ended up being devoted to each other. Now they have both passed away and I'm lucky enough to be able to go on You Tube and see my beautiful bunnies again.  I miss them so much, but all thanks to Jay, Charlotte, Theo, Paul and of course Anne McBride for making this video possible. This bonding was between two bunnies, who lived a great distance apart.  Brian was in Lincoln and Mindy was in Devon.
I'm so grateful to have this lasting tribute to my special bunnies. Thanks Happy Hoppers.

Awwwww Jo , I remember it well ! That's the day met you! And Brian and Mindy of course. What gorgeous buns they were... And a lovely legacy they have left behind.

I didn't know they were your bunnies Josephine I was sat watching the bonding video the other day as I thought it was very good.

We could probably do the bit in the middle, Tuckerbunnies to Blackburn then onto Birmingham.

That's a big chunk of the journey sorted

Thank you Maysie. I'm sure it is the one you are thinking of, he's black and named after a biscuit and you posted his rescue request. I had an Email this afternoon from Vicky, her director has said that I've got to collect him. I will be coming by train. If I've to collect him from fosterer in Gateshead, I might be able to do it in a day. But if I go to rescue in Sunderland, I will probably need to stay over in a Travel Lodge.
Hi Katie, yes that was when we first met and a lovely young lady you are. My daughter and two grandchildren have settled in now after their return from Portugal. She has managed to buy a house now and children doing well at school. Scott managed to pass 11 GCSE's out of 13, so I'm really proud of him. Hope you and bunnies are doing ok. I have been following your recent bunny problems though. x   

If Paws know Maysie and we would vouch for you, they might not insist on you going in person. We have our Theo via Paws and although we did drive up to collect him, they would have happily released him to Maysie for us to collect from Tuckerbunnies.

I did mention to Vicky that I knew Josephine from the forum and that she could collect a certain big butterfly French lop from us if it was easier for Pawz. We could collect him. If you want to mention that to them Josephine please do.

We are only 400 yards from Scotch corner and at Middleton Tyas services which are at the end of our road is a Travel Lodge

I won't be having the gorgeous French Lop boy now. It would be unfair to put him through the stress of travelling from N.E England to the SW. He reacted very badly when he did a much shorter journey in a car in the past.
There are plenty of Frenchies in this area, but they are all from breeders, and I'm not going down that road. I'll just need to keep checking the local rescues and hopefully one will turn up eventually.

It's sad that you won't be having him, but lovely that you have put his best interests first
