Our Gentle Henry 24-10-04 to 30-8-13

We collected Henry the German lop and Sox the Lionhead from a house in Blackpool in 2009 after the young Daughter became allergic to them , we  lived at the time not far away from Blackpool, and we had made arrangements to take them to a rabbit rescue in North Yorkshire that some friends of ours at the time ran.
We collected them and drove to North Yorkshire the same day and dropped them off and said that when we moved to North Yorkshire if they were still in rescue we would have them.

We eventually moved to North Yorkshire in March 2010 and Henry and Sox were still in rescue and so we decided to give them a home with us here at the Tuckerbunnies sanctuary.

Henry has never been any trouble he has been a loveable and gentle soul who just loved being cuddled and would fall asleep in your arms, he was also very handsome.

It’s only recently he had started to lose weight and his trip to the vet’s on Friday 30th August for test’s showed he was in the final stages of renal failure.We decided to spend one last weekend with him but sadly it wasn’t to be as Henry never came round from the light GA that he was given so they could take bloods at the vet's and he fell asleep the same night in the comfort of his home.   

We will never forget our big soft cuddle bun Henry and we will miss him.......forever!  

Come back and see us when you can Henry we will be waiting for you

So sorry sweetie I should have put this on yesterday but I think you will understand why I didn't as there is a lot going on in my life at the moment but like the other's you are always in my heart today tomorrow and till we meet again.

I can't believe it's a year since you left us and your girl Sox is still here with us.
