A Message From Gizmo

Hoomins!  

This afternoon I was woken from a nice snooze, dreaming of all sorts of lovely noms and grassy meadows  

I was herded into a carrier that smelt of Mason!

Hudad tried herding Cindy in too so while he was distracted I hopped out again  

He finally got us both in together. I must speak to Cindy about our synchronisation!  

A ten minute ride next to Reggie in the back of a sporty little French thing hudad calls a Twingo   and we arrive at the V.E.T    

I get mauled about by Sian (although she is very gentle and ever so nice  ).

They think I have fleas! Or lice! Or some such disease! I ask you! I don't know whether to be  or  


If they'd asked I could have told them it wasn't sunburn (again!  ) or an infestation. Cindy has a habit of grooming me too much around my ears and my eyes. At least, I'm sure it's down to that. All Sian could find in my fur was the stash of dirt I hadn't managed to dispose of from our secret tun......




I've said too much!

So have you got a yucky treatment of some sort?

A secret tunnel eh....... That's exciting.

Gizmo has baldy bits - he had one on his eyebrow a little while ago but Humum assumed it was sunburn. Now he has a bigger one at the front / base of one ear and a smaller one the other side. They took him in to be checked out and despite the vet plucking bits from two areas for a good look under the microscope, she could not find anything to worry about. They *did* see some tiny black specks in one patch of his fur but when she looked at them under the microscope she decided they were dirt

They think Cindy might be over-grooming him and his hair is very fine, being such a pale bun. No treatment for now, he'll just be kept an eye on.

As for the tunnel - Humum said they were up to something at the front of their run, just behind the retaining wall, and when Hudad went in to investigate he found a tunnel longer than his arm. It would eventually have let them out into the 'bun-free' bit of the garden, where all the interesting noms are  

Cindy and Gizmo have now swapped runs with the quad, and their new run has concrete walls all round

Gizmo is brilliant! I can't believe meanie hudad though, all that work for nothing!!
