The infection had got in to her optic nerve and was tracking backwards in to her brain we had to let our very special little lady go

I will never ever get over this Crying or Very sad

Baby Saint is "one of those bunnies". All bunnies on this forum are special, each and every single one, but for some reason theres a few that just seem to get to you even if you have never met them, and Baby Saint was definitely one of them. It sounds daft, but it just is. She was such a special girl, and I am so sorry. x

As SJ said, Baby Saint was one of the special bunnies that touched everyone's life and not just on this Forum.  Her story is one of love and caring.  Her life was a miracle.  Each and every day.  Without the incredible love and skill the two of you have she would not have lived more than a day after she became yours.

Baby Saint has a legacy that few bunnies can claim and not just that life was one miracle after another.  You have shared her story with countless many.  You told of all the adaptations that you made for her to enable her to be happy and live as full life as she could with her limitations.  This showed people  how to give special needs bunnies that would have otherwise been pts or live in misery a chance to live happy and as healthiest as their conditions would allow.  People asked questions and they learned. 

The life of this tiniest of bunnies saved many and will continue to do do in the years to come because people will remember.  They will remember the story of the tiny Tuckerbunny Baby Saint.  People will say "I heard that you could modify xyz." and it will be talking about an adaptation you made for Baby Saint.  She was special.  She will always be with us. 

I can just see her now running and binking all around because she can now SEE.  If she could talk to you this moment it would be "Please don't be sad Mummy Tucker!  I can SEE now and everything is just so lovely!  I can run and jump very high!  I don't hurt anymore.  I will miss you, Daddy Tucker and Mummy Helen of course. But please know I am happy and we will see each other again!"

Oh no. This is the worst news. Baby Saint was one of those buns who, against all logic, I just expected to be around forever.

She was an incredible little girl, an inspiration to many buns and owners who might face difficult circumstances. To have had the tragically traumatic start in life that she did was heartbreaking. To have come to you and had several wonderful years was no less than she deserved.

Given all she faced, having lost her to something so insignificant as an infection is just heartbreaking. I am so, so sorry.

I cannot believe what I am seeing.

Baby saints story was a story of triumph over adversity and was testament to what love and care can overcome.

I am devastated for you all, I wish there was something I could do or say to help.

Oh Maysie. I am so very sorry to see this news tonight. I've been wondering how everything was going today while I was at work.

I know how loved Baby Saint was, and is, by you and Mike and I can only imagine how low you must be feeling right now.
You gave her a life and a chance when most people probably wouldn't have, and I hope that, in time, you can take some comfort knowing that.
