I'm glad she is staying on the abx, even if it is yucky baytril pale

I'd perhaps let her have some tummy-friendly herbs but re-introduce things gradually again.

She's sniffing out the Baytril and starting to refuse it, even when on Shreddies and Fenugreek Crunchies which are her favourites. I might try wrapping it in Spinach tomorrow.

I have 1 of the workds most stubborn buns when it comes to taking that as you are well aware from seeing my post with Dougal and tried sooooo many things and he just would not have it but then I got him to take it in the ellas kitchn apple baby food the first time he was on it mixed with pellets ands readigrass altogether Laughing

and he finally had it. I tried the same this time when he had to have his metacam for his neuter and he would not touch the baby food so I had to squert it inside a piece of banana and mush it up or slice it up and mix it and he loved it. He is really bad with meds so maybe try 1 of those methods and hopefully that will work.

or something similar since she has an upset tum.

She took it wrapped in spinach leaves, and since I only needed to use a few leaves to do it it shouldn't bother her tummy too much Thumbs Up

I used the Ella's Kitchen baby food when I had to syringe feed my guinea pig meds once though - it worked a treat! Very Happy

Willow is a strange girl and is one of the (very few, I'm sure!) bunnies who HATES fresh banana. She loves banana chips and anything banana flavoured, but even if she can detect a hint of fresh banana - whether it's touched other veggies or she can smell it on your fingers - she goes nuts. And if you offer her banana she acts like you tried to feed her poison Laughing

Glad that works hun, at least you found something that does and it helps a lot doesnt it. I too have a fussy young man and he is very bad with meds.

Yes this did for Dougal the first time, but he must have been feeling off with the neuter as he would not touch certain things, that was 1 of them but he nommed the banana down, he had never had it before then, just the odd banana chip.
