We've had Bailey since march and he was neutered before then...

what are my chances of bonding him with an unspayed 2 year old doe?

Herbie was bonded with Rosie and Hollie last year and neither of the girls had been spayed.

However the girls were 5 months old and were not showing particularly hormonal behaviour at that time.

I guess Autumn time would be a good time to try when the lurve hormones are dying down!

She may well become less nervous when she is with another bun. Rosie has become less timid around us since she has been with BJ.

If you are happy to carry out the bonding then give it a go. I am sure there have been plenty of other bondings involving unspayed girlies.

Good luck xx

I tried and the intro failed - doe got way too territorial and ripped up poor Joey's ears. I tried again post-spay and though (strangely) it took a little longer than my male-male bonding, there was no more aggression from her (or him)

It's possible but can cause more long term problems when it comes to getting the doe neutered. If possible I would always advise neutering both first regardless of gender.
