Hi
I didn't know where to post this so I hope it's ok to post here.

I'm looking for a bunny wife for Vince when he's had the snip which will be soon. I've looked at the rabbit rehome wesite and the nearest rabbit rescue is in westbury wiltshire which isn't very close to me really. I thought Bristol would have had a bunny rescue but it appears not. So, my only choices are the RSPCA or PaH where I got Vince from (their Support Adoption rescue thingy). Thing is, I was hoping to introduce Vince to a few bunnies to see which one he liked. I have done tons of reading on the subject and read this was the best way to bond them. I don't want to end up with 2 bunnies living in 2 hutches 'cos they don't get along! I'm not an experienced bunny owner so was looking to go somewhere where there are experienced people to help.
Has anyone got any ideas? I had a look through trade it as some people are trying to rehome their rabbits, hutches and all. That could be a possibility I suppose???

I got Gloria as a companion to Wolfgang from our Dundee rescue, which is 100 miles or so from Elgin. I just had to take the chance that it would work and it did. I wouldn't have wanted to take Wolfs all the way there on spec.

If you do go to a rescue, some of them will offer to do the bond for you then you collect the happy couple later. That way if it doesn't work out, you just take your bun back and look for another rabbit to bond with.

Good luck.
