how much do you guys pay for the combi Vac?
I get my buns done at Johns, and I think from memory its £35 ish.
I telephoned my local vet this morning as I want to get a rescue bun done ready for him to go to his new home and they wanted £44 !!
I think this is a shocking amount. Or is this the normal price?

We have a good discount at Myerscough. Ours are done for £20 per bun, but there are 17 of us now

And that is £20 for the whole visit, including a good health check, a natter with the vet and the dreaded VAT.Father Jack wrote:We have a good discount at Myerscough. Ours are done for £20 per bun, but there are 17 of us now
I think they just like an excuse to see us

I think it was £35 including a health check...although the check varies in quality depending on who see them

The official price is £38 for first bunny and about £30 for second and subsequent bunny at the same consultation. Their Aunty Frances usually charges second bunny rate even if there's just one bunny. Just one more vaccination season before she retires

I just can't remember how much exactly but think it was between £35 and £40 for the vaccination, health check and VAT. I also got Panacur for both at my visit so my bill was about £100.

Thank God we don't have to vaccinate here. They actually tax medical care on pets?

Oh my gosh, some of you are lucky!
My vets charge £44 per bun for a combi vaccine and a health check. I can't complain though, they are fab and they do get a thorough health check

I know. Although she did describe her retirement as "I won't be doing *this* anymore" (meaning routine consultations, I guess). She said she'll still be around. I suspect she will be writing and hopefully even taking some referrals for a while. I'm glad she is telling everyone and it's not 'til October as we get chance to get used to it. Going to miss chatting to her too. She really understood the implications for me of finding a black lop in rescue, not many people in the real world know how much Artie meant to me.
Our vets' co-authored book is out tomorrow!
