Rory surprised me today....

My dear Rory surprised me yesterday. He hopped up on the bed and had his morning treat time as he does every morning. Then, wonder of wonders the little guy stretched all the way out on my tummy and let me pet him for 5 minutes! He even was tooth purring! He was so lovey and content. He was looking right at me while I talked softly to him. It was wonderful. I couldn't imagine why he did this.

A few minutes later Hubby came in and said "You'll never guess what YOUR boy did today. He had chewed a HUGE hole in the beanbag chair. The room looked like it had exploded all over it.   

Actually I think the little guy is very stressed. Plumbers are having to do quite a bit of work on the house. They will be cutting into the slab on Monday to fix a leak. Rory is afraid of men because of the abuse he suffered and all the loud noises are scary. When the concrete saw cuts into the slab all of our ears will be hurting!

We like to keep you guessing   

I'm sorry, but I did giggle a bit at the beanbag chair    

I hope the plumbers work quickly and are soon out of your fur   

Oh Rory ... I think his cuddle was an apology.... Bless him.

Hope the work is done soon and then things can get back to normal.

I think he knew he had been a naughty bun and like a little kiddie, it was something he did on impulse and was hoping to make it up to you LOL!

Sparky-I'd have loved to see the beanbag chair go poof! He's managed to get the little beans all over the house. They just keep spreading. The more we vacuum the more there are!

Humphrey did this! I can normally hear what he's up to, and previously he had only nibbled at the edges of my beanbag chair; hadn't seen any damage to the main body of it. Got up one day after only 10 mins on the sofa and beans were everywhere. 5 holes! They are so hard to sew up as well!

I think he was creeping to the unknowing hoomin for a "defense"

He was doing that so that you would not tell him off, turning on the Rory charm, aimals are so clever     , his way of saying I know I have done bad mum and I am sorry.

So cute though, I bet it was a lvely moment. Lets hope he does this more for you.

     to the chair, sorry for laughing but that is funny, I laught at stuf flike that when Dougal does it after telling him NO but cannot help it, especially the guilty face he gives me and then strats apologising in his cute way.

That is so true Nicky love, with Mr Snuffles when we realised we hadn't seen him or heard him for a while we became suspcious and in most cases, sure enough he was being naughty LOL!!
