Rory's Big Dig Empty Rory's Big Dig

Post by gentl Thu Dec 19, 2013 6:04 pm

Rory decided he wanted to earn his keep and perhaps get more noms and dig enough to go visit Sparky. Very Happy  Soooo he decided to 'help' the plumbers dig this....

As you can see it was a very big hole thru our hall bath floor to fix several leaks.

His plan didn't work as planned though.  The plumbers were men and one of them wore a hat.  Suspect  He is afraid of most men and if they wear hats he is terrified beyond words.  We have had him a year now and he still remembers the abuse he suffered.  Poor sweet Sir Poops Alot.

I wish I could have let him get in there and dig but they were sewer line breaks and here they often treat the dirt under the concrete with insecticides to inhibit termite infestation. He would have loved tunneling in the soft dirt I think even though his paws have never touched grass or dirt.

I hope Rory becomes less afraid soon, bless his little heart Sad

I have a feeling our bath is going to have to be taken out and similar work performed. We've got leaks coming through ceilings on two floors every time we drain it pale

I got a shock seeing that! I thought what a naughty bun! but then I read "plumbers"  Laughing

Our Myrtle is still scared of men and we have had her for 4 years now, she trusts me more and more each day though  Love

The plumbing is all repaired but the tile will need replacing and hopefully the carpet. The insurance co is trying to get out of paying for the carpet. Hissy
