Dental Spurs (pic)
For anyone who thinks it maybe ok to wait a while before having dental spurs treated... look at this pic
This bunny of mine refused breakfast one morning so took her straight to the vets... a spur was seen and she was kept in and had a dental the same day
She had not gone off food until that morning.... how.... i will never know my vet took this pic for me
thankfully..... she came home and ate for england.....

Re: Dental Spurs (pic)
This is going to sound totally weird, but i love this picture, its so clear, and not often you get such a good view of dental spurs. Ive felt them before and i find dentals so interesting...when done by a rabbit savvy vet, otherwise theyre just horriffic to assist with!!
I think some buns tolerate them so well because its a gradual thing, maybe? If it was to happen over night, can you imagine!! owch!! Dont you have another recent one? She has them quite often, doesnt she? xxx

Re: Dental Spurs (pic)
The latest pic wasnt too clear.... couldnt really see the spur as that time it was tiny... but could see the marks on her tongue and that was three weeks after the first one

Re: Dental Spurs (pic)
Ouch
It's amazing how things affect buns differently. We had all that last year with Reggie, blood tests and all sorts when she stopped eating and finally the third vet to look in her mouth saw a tiny sore on her tongue and it turned out to be the tiniest, tiniest spur.

I don't think you are weird as I know what you mean and I have saved the photo ( hope you don't mind June ) as it's so clear I can show customers what a dental spur is as a lot don't know.
I think that's a brilliant photo

She might not mind, you don't often get to poke your tongue out at the whole internet
