"Anorexia due to dental Spurs"

I was emailed a copy of Molly's completed insurance claim form by my vet and it states the reason for claim is due to the above.

This was for the weekend stay in April.

Is anorexia a widely used term in treating rabbits who aren't eating?? I find it strange, seeing as anorexia is a mental health condition, and not a physical one???

I've just looked up the dictionary definition for anorexia (I am such a loser! ) and it says "lack or loss of appetite"

So I guess it becomes s mental health condition when paired with "nervosa"

I guess this is what mine have too then.... although I've never heard it called that before.

It's a funny word to associate with animals isn't it!
