Re: Runaround system has arrived
It looks fab!! What a lovely big garden you have!! I do highly recommend getting some clear tarp for the runs as then the buns can use them in the wind and rain without getting soaked.

Re: Runaround system has arrived
Hi Vince,
Thanks for the tip, just ordered some
And still looking for a Wendy house or alike to be added too.
All the ones I seen so far where to expensive, to far away or to shabby.
Sure the right thing will come at the right time.

Re: Runaround system has arrived
A play house would be fab added to that! Have you tried B&Q? My local one sometimes has a clearance section out the back where they sell cheaply ex display and slightly damaged sheds/wendyhouses. Only a bit of DIY would be needed to turn them into something really nice.
I love DIY projects I've been making a perspex window for my playhouse that opens and closes with the mesh behind it for added security when the window is open. Put my foot through the porch so ripped all that today, it was a good opportunity to check the joists under the playhouse. They are all ok luckily. Off to B&Q tomorrow to buy some funky coloured paint for the outside of the house.
My lot are loving their new set up.

Re: Runaround system has arrived
Good on them and who would doubt it?
Always checking for reduced sheds and Wendy houses.
Just not found it yet.
And still waiting for the clear plastic stuff to arrive.
Did it take long when you ordered it?
Actually may need to chase that

Re: Runaround system has arrived
They were quick, they usually are. Fitted a new opening window today and painted the play house in less funky colours than I'd planned cos I had worries it would turn out an eye sore so went with a greenish, blueish and white combo. Re felted the roof and laid fresh slabs under the porch joists, not gonna bother rebuilding the porch as I prefer it without.
When the plastic stuff does arrive, I would recommend folding dover te edges and sellotaping them down. It reinforces the edges and does extend the life of the plastic. I used drawing pins to put mine to the run, the buns use their runs in the pouring rain and high winds.
