Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Rosie and Dougal seem quite well, Roo has a checkup on Thursday and Humum will decide then whether to keep Dougal on abx for longer or not.
Graham is much brighter, still not sure what her diagnosis is but also has a checkup on Thursday
Ronnie is much better, weight-bearing on that foot again.
I'm no different, still very quiet and favouring the same paw. The specialist vet is visiting our practice in a couple of weeks so our vet is going to ask them about acupuncture for me

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Rosie has had a checkup tonight. She seems fine but the vet said to give her the last few doses of Baytril she has left, then just keep an eye on her and the occasional feel of her groin Roo has been as good as gold every time she has been to the vet, until tonight, when she tried to do the over-the-shoulder trick to Humum Humum and Claire between them were too quick for her though...
Dougal seems fine and had his last injection a couple of days ago
Ronnie is completely recovered
Graham is doing really well on the alamycin - she has a few injections to go and Humum is going to finish the course and the panacur, but she does seem completely well. An attempt to re-introduce her to the other three of the quad has led Humum to believe that she and Ronnie will never accept each other again though
I'm doing fine. I have daily metacam and no longer favour my leg. I am grumpy, though, because I am having the heaviest moult ever

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Good to hear all are on the mend.
Bruce says would you like to join his new club - the grumpy moulters club. It's an exclusive club for hairier buns, no Flos allowed. He doesn;t think it's fair that he doesn't get many nose licks when he is moulting.

I am pleased to hear that there is good news after the latest vets visit.
I think I must have grumpy moulters too - all the buns here seem 'off' somehow at the moment.

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
So last night Dougal had a bit of a sneeze and a tiny bit of gunk in the corner of his eye, so will be going back on his abx. Layla's eye has also flared up a little again so Humum is going to try a couple of days with the eye drops before braving baytril again...
I would love to be in Bruce's Grumpy Moulters Club. Do we just sit around glaring and giving the occasional sigh? I can do thatcheryl'n'bruce'flo wrote:Good to hear all are on the mend.

Humum is considering options. One of which is chucking everybun but me in a pen in the garage and see if they can settle as a colonyKatieb wrote:What are humums plans for the Graham if she can't go back to the quad :-( :-(
Humum is going to wait till dusk and do a grooming session. That way you can't tell there are clouds of fur floating off down the streetc.bolduan wrote:Moulting is a big issue with Bertie for the second time in a month, you must be kidding get the zoom groom out
