Your humum must be ready for a bit of a rest by now! Sending lots of vibes for you all. Sounds like it has been really stressful for everyone.

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
They saw the vet last night and all are doing ok
Rosie's abscess has shrunk a lot. She is on Baytril for another week. The vet wants to try to avoid going in surgically as it is right in the crease of her back leg / groin so any wound would tend to open up again every time she moves.
Dougal - doing well on the alamycin, might have to have a tear-duct flush next week as one eye is quite weepy.
Graham - doing well, now off the meds and see how she goes with just being nebulised.
Thanks hoppers

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
They're all doing really well
Roo has been out for a while tonight and Did Not Want to go back in
Dougal is looking loads better and has his last injection tonight.
Graham seems completely recovered and can go back out once Humum has decided what to do with her (she's actually considering trying her with Roo and Dougal, as Roo has lived with girls before and Doug is just a big softy).
Roo and Doug are at the vets tomorrow night so hopefully they'll get the all-clear and be able to go back in their usual hutch and run. Then it will just be a case of keeping a close eye on Roo for a while.
But... Ronnie is now lame She's holding her back left leg completely up against her body. Humum is going to ring the vet tomorrow and see if it will be ok to take her along too....

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Well, change of plan
Humum has come in and Graham is laying in her pen looking quite uncomfortable, breathing a bit fast, and not even reacting to being touched so she's going to the vet at 6pm with Rosie and Dougal.
Ronnie will have to go tomorrow, and Humum thinks I will too as I am reluctant to use my right front paw although she thinks I may just be putting it on...

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Rosie - still has a little pus in the abscess. Baytil for another week then another checkup. The vet is really reluctant to go in surgically because of the location and the fact it seems to be in several little pockets, not nicely encapsulated.
Dougal - doing really well, he has 3 more injections of alamycin just to try to get the last bit of snot cleared.
Graham - we're really not sure what's going on with her. When the vet turned her over to look at her bum, she had a bit of urine staining on her back legs. Whether that is just where she has been laying today, or from longer than that we are not sure. Anyway she is having everything thrown at her - abx, panacur, metaclopramide and pain relief. She's back next week too unless no improvement in the meantime. She's just had a round of meds so will see how she is in a couple of hours. Humum did click that the panacur is one division for up to a 2kg bun and Graham is about 2.5kg so she's upped the dose a bit.
Me and Ronnie are in at 6pm tomorrow...

Re: Rosie, Dougal, Graham, Ronnie and Sparky :( ...
Graham is better than she was yesterday, but not eating a lot so is getting syringe fed on top of her 4x meds
Ronnie has what looks like a bite wound on her foot and between her toes so is on baytril and pain relief for a week. The trio have been shut in the hutch for the night as Ronnie is not allowed to go out and run around in the mud. Humum will have to figure out what other arrangements to make tomorrow, as it seems a bit mean to shut Smudge and Poirot in too.
The vet thinks my lameness is related to my other problems. Humum has suspected I have a bit of a sore neck / spine for a while. Claire could not feel any bone or soft tissue damage, so I get metacam too, to see if that helps. Humum has put some on a mini shredded wheat for me but I am far too busy sulking to nom it yet
Thanks again for the vibes
