My big baby Sam and the rest of our dogs

i thought I would share some photos of my handsome 16 year old balck lab sam, who is a total mummy's boy. I have also put on Max and Zak, they where my angels too, sadly a few years ago they both got cancer within a week of each other, Zak actually got his ear lopped off and got rid of it then got it again and then Max got it. They both got pts within a week of each too and I miss them dearly. I have also put up Akira, my brothers stunning husky.

this is Sam in saunnyhurts woods much younger when he still layed with his ball, although he would not fetch it if you threw it too far   .

Max, a very happy chap, they all where and sam still is, he loved being in the woods.


Zak, his brother, he doted on Max, they where so close to each other. A sweet dog and he was a shy dog too, he wasn't 1 for too many people around him and noise or the camera    but he was a little love and he just came alive in the woods, he loved it.


Ths one makes me sad and smile at the same time, his very last day at the beach before we had to have him pts, he looks so content and like he is saying I am ready to be with my brother now   .


My younger brothers husky Akira, stuning dog and a very well beahved intelligent one too.

She is a stunner, she is bi eyed too, one baby blue coulour eye and one brown. I forget how dark she was too, she is much lighter now with not as much black as you can see of the photo I took of her in the sea a couple of years ago.I think she is 3 now. Maybe 4.

How lovely to see pictures of your gorgeous dogs. They are very handsome, except Akira who is beautiful! She does look very intelligent.

She is too intelligent at times and she is funny, she is very much the boss of my brother and has him wrapped around her paws   .

Sam is my boy, he is my parents but still very much a mummy's (my) boy and he knows me as mummy and my mum as mum, he knows the difference, he is very intelligent too.

Max and Zak I miss, they where clever and max was the alpha male.

Aww doggies can be sweet too. Such intelligence.

They are all aadorable, I would love a doggie like Akira.

Black labs I recommend and cannot blame you for wanting one, they are soft , laid back , sweet dogs. They are an excellent family dog and Sam is just the cutest , softest one I have known. He would not husrt a flea, he is the only one I trust near Dougal, not that he can get upstairs as he is too old but if he did he would not touch him at all. In fact if Sam was younger they would get on really well I thiink. He is such a funny character and my therapy dog as he pulls me out of depression in seconds. I love him to bits. He is my best bud. I would always have to go black lab for their nature and cuteness. I do not think I could ever have a black lab quite like sam though. I hope you get to have one, one day hun.

I miss my special boys Max and Zak too. They may have gone for Dougal. I know Akira would for sure but that is just in her breeds nature, but she is a very lovely, sweet, beautiful girl and a softy.

Thanks sophia, the one of Zak was his last day at the beach, was very sad but he looked ready and it is such a lovely photo. Sam is my big baby, we are very close, he follows me everywhere. Ye he is a very good age indeed.

Thanks Maysie too, Akira does have stunning eyes. I love her blue one, the shade is gorgeous.
