Hi all,

Since about Thursday, Bunny seems to have eaten less during the night. When we put him in for night, he has a full up bowl - layer of pellets on bottom with greenery on top (obviously he has hay and water in there as well). Usually when we get him out in morning, the bowl is empty but since Thursday, he has left quite a bit of food. He is still pooing and weeing normally (soz tmi) and haven't given him anything untoward that I am aware of so not sure if I need to be concerned? He is okay in himself although currently settling into his new home.

Should I be worried?

How old is Johnny and when was his last vet check? At the vet check did he have a throrough dental examination with an otoscope?

Is he eating his ceacal pellets as normal?

Do you think it could be because of his new cage? I'd take him to the vet if there's no change within a couple of days.

Hi as far as I know he still eating his poopy pellets. When had last injection couple of weeks ago the vet checked him over and said he was okay.

He is okay in himself, still pooing a lot and weeing although he hasn't pood in his new hutch yet - he just been pooing in litter tray indoors - not sure why?

If he is in the new hutch at night that ^^^^^^ could be why he is not eating so much overnight Hmmm

It's a lovely hutch!!! Could you put a bit of soiled litter and a few of his poos from his indoor litter tray outside, so that he knows it's ok to go there???

Hiya yes I think I will do that - I have put litter tray in there for tonight, if he doesn't poo in that I will just put some soiled stuff on the floor.

Will keep ya posted. I think my Buns and Evo look related Smile

Yes I hope so....I spoke to vet today and she said maybe it is his teeth - said they should be checked every 6 wks so may make appointment to get him checked just to be on safe side, better to be cautious than ignore it.

Took some more photos of him close range earlier so will add them later...he must have got bored cos he lay down and rolled over as if to say "i've had enough" !
