Meg - American Bulldog - Surrey
This is Meg who is an American Bulldog.
DOB: June 2014
Meg was bought from a breeder along with her sister.
Her sister was a lot more confident than Meg and both were taken to a large animal rehoming center when the owner felt she was unable to cope with the dogs.
The rehoming center accepted her sister, but said that because Meg growled at them, that they would put her to sleep.
The owners refused to have this done and so bought Meg back home with them.
Since being in rescue, Meg has learned all about walkies and had to be house trained as well. We are nearly there with her, but she had to learn later on in life, so allowances would need to be made in her new home.
On first meeting, Meg is nervous of new people. Anybody coming to view will need to expect a nervy first meeting. After a day, she happily settles in her new home, but images of rescuing her out of rescue are not necessary as she is extremely happy where she is!!!
She lives very well with other dogs and also with cats. She has lived with young children, but due to her nerves, I feel it fair to place her in an adult home only.
She can be left for short periods of time on her own - she does not suffer from separation anxiety.
Meg has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
A homecheck will be required and a minimum adoption fee of £150 applies.

If she's still available in august once I've moved, I would be interested in offering her a home : )
