Thimble and Maisy - mini lop and rex x - Sad update :(

Thimble (male mini lop) and Maisy (female rex x English)

Thimble DOB: April 2012
Maisy DOB: August 2014

Maisy and Thimble's previous owner contacted us as they were going to have Thimble put to sleep as he had problems with his teeth and they didn't want Maisy to be on her own. We offered to take both rabbits and took them to see our vet. Thimble's incisors were growing in the wrong direction, so he has now had them removed. He can still eat very well, but does need his veggies cut into bite sized pieces.



They are both friendly rabbits. Thimble doesn't mind being handled and someone is going to be very lucky with these two in their lives!

We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £40 per rabbit. Both are neutered, vaccinated, wormed and have seen our vet.

Looking for a home!

Unfortunately Thimble's back teeth are now in a bad way and sadly there is no treatment. Thimble will stay with his wife at the rescue until it's time to let him go. When this happens, we will be looking for a home for Maisy with a neutered male.
Sadly, this thread can be closed I will make Maisy her own thread when the time comes.

Oh Im so sorry to hear that.

I have a bun though with similar issues.... and 2 and a half years on.... the little guy is still with me. Im glad that the time he has is with you where he will be happy and well cared for.
