Need your opinions on this
So all has been well on the bonding front, Hec didn't even hump her when I fed them today. When I got home from work a slightly alarming scene greeted me:
The fur that's everywhere is Hector's, it seemed like there'd been a bit of a ruckus because there was water spilt just outside the pen. However, I've looked Hector over and he's fine, no bald patches, no blood, and no sensitivity or tenderness when I run my hands over him. I collected up the fur and there's no blood or skin on it, it looks exactly like when I brush his mats out. Which is a thing about Hec, his hair is super fine and mats really easily, especially around his tail and lower back, his tail actually looks great now. Do you think it's an extreme grooming session or a fight?
That's the fur I picked up! He's ok with her, not avoiding her and doesn't seem scared or nervous around her. What are your thoughts?

Re: Need your opinions on this
It sounds like it could have been a scuffle. When I had Molly spayed, Junior wasn't best pleased with her and I thought I was going to have to re-bond them. But I came home from work one day and Molly had jumped into his half of the divided pen and her fur was everywhere! But they were back behaving how they were before they were neutered. They'd obviously sorted out their differences.
Not nice to come home to but saved me a job
Sorry, this prob isn't very helpful!

Re: Need your opinions on this
Layla and Jack bonded very easily, but a few weeks later I came in from work and there had obviously had a massive to-do - there was fur *everywhere*. However both buns were unharmed and they were fine with each other, so I didn't worry too much about it. If I had been present, there is no doubt I would have broken up the fight and I wonder now if that would actually have done more harm than good.
Jack and Layla now have one of the strongest bonds I have seen
I wouldn't worry about it if it's just a one-off.
Oh, and congrats on the new girlie. I don't get much chance to post but I have seen the pics and she is stunning
Have you committed to a name for her yet?

Sometimes arguments do break out hun, it doesn't necessarily mean they have fallen out for good.

Sounds like if they had a tiff... they sorted it out!
How are they doing with snuggling and grooming?

Yes, I agree. Sounds like they have had a bit of a tiff - it was probably over in a matter of seconds. Fingers crossed that they have got it out of their system and are back on track to being loved up.

We have snipes at each other don't we if we are in not too good a mood? I think it is the same with buns, they are just having a bad day.
