I found this floating in the water bowl this morning

Eight legs? Pincers ... some weird kind of spider?
Certainly a new one on me.
Glad it wasn't in Henry's dish as going by his recent behaviour he would no doubt have eaten it.

As you know I love bugs but I have never seen one like that before, My first thought was scorpion (we do have small ones in this country as we do centipedes) but he doesn't really look like one of those either at the back, he has no sting.  I am truly intreagued.  Wouldn't like him near my babies though.

I'm wondering if it is something in an intermediate state .... not fully formed. A beetle of some kind or tick .... its body is similar to a ticks.

It's a pseudoscorpion (seriously that's what they're called).

A tick maybe or some mutated creature. Pseudo scorpion ok I need to read up on this. Glad you found it without causing any problems that is if they can:study:

They weren't bothered at all. I can't be sure that nobun pushed it in the water bowl tho

I wonder if he bites or anything (sorry, me and my bugs again).

Don't mentioned bites please.
I was looking after a patient two nights ago in her own home. two cats lovely. At about midnight it didnt feel lovely anymore. One of the cats and myself scratching. Came home in the morning covered in flee bites all over my body as the sods must be on the soft furniture as well.
So....
Into the shower long on. All cloth straight into the mashine on 60 degree long circle before I would say good morning to the folks.

Yuk, I think whole house wants some Stronghold.  Sorry this happened to you hun.

They are all in there waiting to say hello to you sweetie LOL!! Things like this should happen to me because I love bugs, instead the stupid things go around scaring ladies who will have attacks of the vapours LOL!!
