Catching an escaped rabbit U/D He is home! :)
Last night someone posted on our local fb page that there was a rabbit sitting in their drive way if anyone was looking for it, so me and my friend went up armed with Molly and Junior's carrier to see if we could catch it. No chance
We tried for 45 minutes, in the dinging snow to try and catch him but he was too bloody quick for us so we had to give up
I've found the owner and she had been trying to catch him for a few hours too but also gave up.
Any ideas how we might be able to catch the little horror? I tried throwing a blanket over him but he's even too quick for that.
That's providing he's still around because no one has seen him this morning
I've suggested she phones the SSPCA if he turns up. Maybe they'll help.
I've had like NO SLEEP for worrying about him!!!

SSPCA probably the best bet, they will probably have traps for catching escapees.
Failing that, a big fishing net?
Fingers crossed the wee bun is caught soon

That's what I thought, they'll at least have the tools!
Wish I'd had a big net last night! I never thought of that. Thanks.
I hope so too. Still no sightings of him this morning

depending on how friendly (and close) they are, sometimes the local Cats Protection branch are able to lend a cat trap.
Hope he turns up and is ok poor Bun.

He's home!!!
Someone picked him up today and took him to the SSPCA! I'm so relieved, I was out looking for him again earlier.
He must have been exhausted and freezing before they managed to catch him. I stood absolutely no chance last night He was enjoying the chase, running to the top of the street, binkying and then running back down towards us
Little horror! His owner has assured me he is grounded!

Brilliant news, lets hope an exhausting night on the tiles was enough to satisfy him and he doesn't attempt to break out form his grounding again.
