Miranda is really freaking out with the syringes so hid her medicine in a banana the first lot has went down but she is suspicious of the second lot.
What foods are best to hide it in?

I can only get away with things like that once too Laughing

A lot of hoppers squirt meds on mini shredded wheat to feed to them.

I'm not sure if baytril is one of those meds tho Hmmm It's particularly rank, apparently!

Hopefully someone with better knowledge will be able to confirm or deny.

Can you syringe it in some Recovery or Critical Care?
I use either mini shredded wheats or carrot cruncher treats.

Do you mean to syringe feed her with that? It's the actual syringe shes terrified off, she back in the corner and whimpers when she sees it.
I'll try the shredded wheat once the shops open. I spent half hour lacing the ends of her cut up green beans with the stuff.

Try toast.
If she will eat toast then take a small piece and syringe the baytril into it and see if she will take that. Henry even managed Septrim in toast and it stuck to high heaven of peppermint which he hates.

No... I use bog-standard-supermarket-white-cheapie because when toasted it is the same as any white bread (to me anyway) and I cannot eat wholemeal/brown bread. Henry as a tiny square of toast at tea time everyday as a treat so putting his drug in it was obvious.
One tip ... allow the toast to cool for a minute before injecting Baytril and press the syringe into the soft edge where you have cut the toast in several spots; make sure toast is liked before offering any with drug, no need to waste expensive medicine!
