thanks! is so frustrating not being able to get her. and she has no front teeth so can't eat. lee said she was trying to eat grass when he saw her at midnight. am so tired today and got loads of work coz was off yesterday and all i want to do is go home and search! she must be so scared, tired and hungry.

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
My incisorless buns managed grass OK so hopefully if she finds some longer patches (I refused to let anyone mow the grass in the buns' area ) she can eat a bit. Could you set up a humane trap with some pellets/grated veg in and put it by the bolt holes?

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
we are hopefully going to find the boltholes tonight. at the moment we have narrowed it down to 2 large barns full of junk and some machinery so are going to hide in car again and watch and see where she goes when she runs off and then try and tempt her out. hopefully she is managing grass then if yours did. i hope so.

If she is incisorless could you put some grated veggies down, at least then she'll be able to eat them? Come home Foxglove...it's much nicer at home, just ask Nettle

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
saw 1 rabbit about 3 hours ago but nothing since - think it was her but can't be sure. not a good night - was really hoping we would get her tonight. also she came from another direction which means she isn't hanging out in one barn like i hoped - so there is no where to focus food/traps/searches. Very disheartening. came in as so tired as been up since 4 looking and is v cold. going to have a bath and go to bed and then get up every hour to check outside. don't know what else to do.

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
lee saw her at 12:30 am so we went out and she ran off up the lane and disappeared. checked again hourly through the night but no sightings. really despondent today. thing is she is a house rabbit so outside means nothing to her ie she doesn't know where home is or anything coz she has never been out there and as she fell out of an attic window she can't get back there. I mean it might not even be her we are seeing - could be just a small wild bunny that hangs around. in 4 hours sitting in our cars last night we saw 1 rabbit for 10 seconds. am so tired and she won't survive coz of her teeth (she is due to have them burred again on 13th oct).

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
I am so sorry to hear this, it's making me very nervous about having J as a free ranging house bunny because she is so naughty and such an escape artist, like FG she also wouldn't survive if she got out.
I really really hope she finds her way home before something ahppens to her. I have everything crossed for her safe return. x

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
Is it worth getting a trap from the RSPCA and trying that.
You must be so worried, I hope she returns home soon xxx

Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
Just thought I would add that my incisorless bun Bobby used to eat grass by turning his head to the side and ripping it out with his molars....it might take her longer than usual but she should still be able to eat something.
Re: Foxglove has fallen out of window UPDATE PAGE 6 - GREAT NEWS
thanks guys. i have just written this note to post in the 2 neighbours house whose gardens she was seen (if it was her) running into last night if you think i should add anything else please let me know. :
Hi,
I live in the annexe at Manor Farm and have lost one of my pet rabbits.
She is a small wild rabbit and needs medical treatment to survive so it is doubly urgent that I find her asap.
We have seen her around over the past few days and at one point run into the Manor Farm cottages’ gardens.
If you think you might have seen her (even if is squashed on the road or in a cat’s mouth) please give me a call – anytime day or night on 07919 251368 or my boyfriend Lee on 07787 165504. She is a bit scared and nervy so you probably won’t be able to tell that she is a pet rather than a wild one so anything you see even if there is only a 1% chance that it is her please do call me.
Thank you for your help.
Rachel

tried putting her rabbit food out last night and night before in rabbit runs but she didn't go near it so wouldn't know where to put a trap - as she deosn't know where home is she is ranging around in other people's gardens and everything.
