Biggest fright ever
Just had the biggest fright of my life, looked out the patio door and there is soundwave out the back running about. He must have slipped out when I was taking the bin out.
Thought of him going missing really broke me. He hasn't had peace keep giving him mummy cuddles and kisses.

Oh sweetie, they are so fast aren't they, it is almost as if they teleport everywhere? I can imagine your horror and relief combined and I can understand your giving him lots of loves and hugs also.

He was in his glory munching on the grass, his long hair blowing in the wind(would have made a good shampoo advert)

Re: Biggest fright ever
Fast and silent (my nephew once described Clawed like the worse kind of f*rt... fast and silent!)
Put a bell on his scut! (only joking!)
I know how you felt, I think most of us here do... it's heart stopping to see them where they shouldn't EVER be.

Re: Biggest fright ever
This is something that worries me with Molly and Junior. I'm forever telling my OH to shut the ruddy doors!!!
I'm not sure Junior would dare step out (he's scared of everything!) but I think Molly would be off like a shot!

Re: Biggest fright ever
An open door to Molly would probably be like leaving the lid off the candy jar.
I think Henry would venture out, but .... warily!

Re: Biggest fright ever
Charlie would run away given half the chance, he is convinced he is hard done by, he doesnt miss a trick either.
Daisy on the other hand is not really sure about the outside world. He normally only wants to go into the garden when I am running late for work or its extremely inconvenient. Although he does like a trip up the back of the garden to stick his nose under the bunny shed door and upset Charlie whenever possible. (provided the grass is suitably short, its dry and sunny, and there is little chance of any "nature" getting on him.

Re: Biggest fright ever
In the better weather we have opened the door and they both have been wary. Clearly he has found a new confidence and decided 'what the h**l, I'm off' lol

Re: Biggest fright ever
Holly doesn't even go in the kitchen which you have to go through to get to the back but we are still very wary when we leave the door open. We usually make sure the middle door is shut but there could always be a time when we forget.
