Treatment for roof felt?
We have an outdoor hutch and run set up which we use for fostering buns - we haven't had any over the winter months. I'd noticed last year that a small leak had developed inside the hutch (we covered it with a tarp as soon as it became apparent) and thought the roof felt might need replacing, but after putting some sealant over some outside joints, it seems like that was the problem. But I'd like to paint the roof with something to make it a bit more resilient just in case.
I'm not sure what to use as a quick google had brought up some conflicting advice. If anyone has any tips for products to use, I'd be grateful.

Check out what's on here at amazon.
Just make sure what ever you use doesn't get to where a bun could ingest it.

Hmmmm I wouldn't know what to suggest I'm afraid hun, although id imagine you don't need to worry about them nibbling anything on the outside of the hutch (although could be famous last words).

Re: Treatment for roof felt?
Thanks for the link - the reviews gave me a few more pointers so I've got the Thompsons stuff and should have it finished tomorrow, weather permitting. They can't access the roof at all, so at least I don't need to worry about nibbling, and am glad not to have them around while it's been painted or drying either!

Re: Treatment for roof felt?
I mentioned watching it didn't get to where they could reach it just in case it could soak through cracks in joins.
Hope you get it sorted. May need to check again if we have an hot summer as some of that stuff can expand and shrink in the heat and may need redoing/touching up come autumn.
