It tears you to pieces, I know. I have a shelf in my sitting room with five such caskets on it, Clawed, Riley and Loll and two of dogs, Misty and Penny. I polish them regularly and there's always fresh flowers too.
Worst of all... there's room for one more and I've already picked out the inscription for his plaque.

You have my deepest sympathy. Soundwave too.

It brings back that phonecall and that room where we handed her over. Wish I had known then I would have brought her home. So she could have been with us and her little man.
