Dealing with spiders
I don't mind spiders. When the big ones migrate indoors in autumn I catch them in a jar and rehome them into an outhouse. So far I've taken four out this autumn, it would have been five tonight except that I only spotted the fifth spider when it was sitting on the head of a sleeping Henry
It seemed quite happy to sit on his face and I watched it for several minutes then it decided to move on and unfortunately for it it chose to go upwards onto his ears. Touch those lovely lugs when he's kipping and Henry is instantly awake as the spider found out
For a bun with a bad heart he certainly shifted!
That poor spider hit the floor running but Henners was on it in a split second. He literally ran it down It was squashed under paw and I had to get the vax hand held hoover to clean up the corpse. I gave it a decent funeral ... down the loo

Re: Dealing with spiders
Seen Vernon watching a spider and than run like hell into his hide.
He wouldn't come out after I removed it. Out in the garden.
Not even fro a crunchier. He is terrified of spiders!

Re: Dealing with spiders
Loll used to sit on them. And once he deliberately sat on a woodlouse for ages. I often wondered if he enjoyed it wriggling under his scut! Kinky....

Re: Dealing with spiders
Holy takes no notice of them but Felix the cat, well, we have to make sure they are in a safe place which isn't easy as cats are very agile.

Re: Dealing with spiders
Felix is the same if he manages to get hold of one, they play with the poor thing for ages. If I see Felix with one I always rescue him.
